BTW, one of the reasons it costs so much to replace the phasers and timing set is....both Mitchell and AllData show 10 and 12 shop hours respectively.....

Mine ticks on cold start up and goes away after awhile It is not a constant tick, more like a morse code sound? I read it sounds like tensioners but what does that mean and is that something that needs fixed asap?

I just changed both of my VCT's and yes it runs better and they were the older ones. However, I am still getting some kind of crazy ticking. Take a look and listen.

Update!: i took it to my people at my local stealership and confirmed it is an exhaust manifold leak where the stud has broken off. Taken it back thursday for the 865$ repair. I will keep yall updated if anything else happens.
