i worked for a ford dealer for the last three years and just recently bought my truck "july". the dealerships are trying to push these things out of there for 2 reasons 1.end of the year and anything left in inventory they have to pay taxes on. 2. no one wants to buy trucks right now since they are expensive and the economy is so f**ked up right now. a truck is really a want for many unless you own a business in which you need one and most of the time in those cases you have a fleet account which is totally different than your average person walking in. I bought an 07' crew cab 4.6l STX with 5,000 miles "demo truck" for $14,000 with 36,000 factory warranty, 75,000 after market $25 per visit "not each item", and 100,000 power train warranty. I think i got a good deal!

Somteimes when going to rural dealerships, you can get a better deal and they may offer extra rebates or incentives. I saved $6000 from going dealership (A) in a bigger city to another dealership (B) in a small rural town. Dealer A was going to sell me a plain xlt 4x4 with no towpackage or fog lamps and little tires. I got a Lariat from Dealer B for $150 less per month at a shorter term than A. Dealer B also gav me more more my other truck plus I got $1500 owner loyalty incentive. The only problem with the small lot is that they didn't have as many trucks to choose from but it was worth the drive. That was on a brand new body style too. The smaller dealerships with less customers flowing through seem to have more to offer.

Depending on your credit, you can get both the financing and the incentives. I did when i bought my 2007's. I bought one on friday and one on saturday. Got 8k off each and zero % financing.

Anyone know what the November incentives will be? I know they officially come out on the 1st, but wondering if anyone at a dealership got them early and is willing to leak the info (even in a private IM)

Default Well I pulled the trigger - could not wait to find out

The trucks are dwindling out there from what the dealer is telling me.. at least the one that I am looking for Black on Black Crew with Chrome Package.

He found a dealer Demo with 6500 miles on it Has Bug shield, Bed Liner, and Window Vents plus lots of Lariat Goodies like moon roof and sliding rear window etc.. got it for 13K off the sticker and all the accessories at no charge.

Plus 3500 for my 99 Ext Cab with 165,000 miles - sure hate to see her go but it owes me nothing for the 10 years I drove it.

i won't look back but sure hope for you guys the 0% gets added that is what I have been waiting on... 0% pluss the Rebates...

Got my 2008 FX2 last week for 17,000 with x-warranty incl. It stickered for 32k and had 8000 rebates and 6500 for my trade (04 Ranger) & Z-Plan. I wasnt really in the market for anew one but figured it prob. wont get any better than now to get 1. I actually paid as much for this 08 as I did my 04 ranger(new). So yea it was a great time to buy...

Thanks. I've just about got everything done. The last thing is the rate. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of rate did Ford give you and for how many months.

BTW, it looks like I'll be picking up my truck next weekend (if everything goes well). FYI, it's a loaded black FX4!!

I purchased my truck on 10/24 and they took 10 off the sticker the second I walked in the door. Got an additional 500 for student rebate, and an additional 1000 for financing through ford. My credit was a 780 so I think it was like 6.7% with the option to refinance later.

Got an additional 1000 after fighting for my trade..Their offer was originally 5, I ended up getting 6. They offered tint and bed liner, i said tint and remote start, they said no, i said im going to dodge....they threw in a remote start.

I took the P.O. for the remote start to the shop and asked if I could up grade it to a full blown alarm with kill switch. He said no but that I could pay the difference... P.O. was for $330 Full blown alarm was 700...

He played with the computer for about 15 min and said he would have to use the same P.o. which meant dealer pricing....I paid $80

Tell the dealer what you want, dont take no for an answer! Im 21 and I got all that!

Great, congrats.

I've worked out a pretty decent deal on the exact truck I want. The only thing I wish it has was remote start, but that's not a big deal (and something that can easily be added).

Are they throwing in tint and bedline? Say screw both! Especially if you plan to get a spray in. Tint is easily done and a heck of a lot cheaper than a remote start.
