Default I'm In Trouble

I bought an 08 f150 4x4 three weeks ago and it was completely stock and I planned on keeping it that way. I just wanted a reliable daily driver and didnt need my f350 diesel anymore. Well that was 3 weeks ago now the truck has tinted windows, I removed the 4x4 decals, kenwood flip out in dash tv, JVC 3 way speakers, MAC 3in cat-back, 2.5 HBS leveling kit, and 35X12.5x17 BFGoodrich mud terrains.

Hmmm now just to figure out what intake and tuner to get (I'm thinking Diablo feel free to convince me otherwise)

Truck looks awesome for 3 weeks old!
And the Diablo is a good choice. After feeling the power increase of the intake and programmer, you're not going to want to stop with the mods.
I'm trying to justify a blower for my truck now.

P.S. Nice choice in color!

Truck is looking gooooooooood!!

I would suggest the EDGE for your truck.. or even the Gryphon by Powerhungryperformance.. Same thing as EDGE just allows for Bill at Powerhungryperformance to do custom tunes..

EDGE is the most popular tuner for our trucks.. I have the Gryphon, and 3 of my other buddies have the EDGE and soon to get it turned into a Gryphon.. and I know other ppl who love the EDGE.. so that's my thoughts.

Here's the link to the tuner/programmer threads for the forum..

Intake.. there's a thread I'll post and let you read through it.. I have the Airaid Intake.. my buddy has an Airaid on his 05' he got for $150 used on Craigslist.. he was missing 2 bolts and went down to the Airaid company here in town and they gave him it for free. GREAT customer service..

Intake thread.

Check craigslist and you might beable to find a used EDGE EVO for $300 or so. Even a intake.

Thanks for the compliments! And I'm very nervous about y
The edge. I'm a big diesel guy and edge has a horable reputation mostly for lack of trans control. I have a guy that custom burns my chips for my diesel but he doesn't do gas. The diablo seems to be good for allowing custom tunes and I can pick one up for $200.00 but I wanted to see what everyone else thought was good I don't want to waste money.

Very clean looking truck... Modding is the clean-man's crack!

I suggest SCT for the tuner. Edge is nice, but is canned tunes only, no custom tune add-ability. Diablo is a good choice, can accept custom tunes. Gryphon is great if you dont mind waiting for your tune to be done and mailed to you.

SCT is so user friendly. I have 2wd w/ a locker, 3.55 gears, 3" susp, 3" body lift, 25x12.5 and it was sluggo. I put it on the 93 tune, and now it tries to break to tires lose. You can also put "towing" or "economy" mode to any of the octane levels, which I thought was cool. Plus its good for multiple vehicles, and stores the custom tunes in the unit, so if you need to go to "stock" for inspection, you wont have to go to the tuner to get your custom back. Just my $.02
