I'm thinking about selling my factory 20" wheel/tire combo. What about these wheels?

I need to finish putting together my '66 coupe and then sell that to finish the fastback. These are the wheels I have for the fastback. They are 17" Shelby Torq Thrust M's... 17x8 with 245/45/17 Nitto 555's on the front, 17x10.5 with 315/35/17 Nitto Drag Radials on the rear.
The car will be kind of a charcoal silver with black stripes. I obviously went with a similar color wheel for the truck as well. It should look mean together, especially when I'm trailering the car to shows further away.

Kind of. The car will have very stock body lines with a few exceptions: Shelby R model style nose but with the front bumper, Shelby rear trunklid and small decklid spoiler, and a 2.5" to 3" cowl hood to clear the motor (408 cubic inch stroked Windsor, probably on spray). Behind the motor will be a Tremec TKO 5 speed that will run to a slightly narrowed 9" rear under the mini-tub. The rear uspension is a triangulated 4 link with coilovers and then a double A-arm coilover setup in the front. I have all late model Cobra disc brakes for both front and rear. The interior will be pretty much stock, other than custom gauges and a few other touches. We're doing a lot of structural strengthening (mostly TCI stuff). I've been planning this car for over 10 years and it's been progressing VERY slowly for a while. It will be at least another year, maybe 2.

Wheels definitely are a matter of opinion. Your wheels look sweet, but I much prefer a brushed or chrome lip to separate the black wheel and tire. Otherwise, it just looks like one big black mass.

The tires got here yesterday and the wheels showed up today. Everything looks sweet! I should have the tires mounted and balanced this weekend and then I'll throw them on!
