Yes thats what I'm saying. Whipple kit makes 6-6.5 psi. Sct programmer and custom tune from JDM is $495. Thats all you need. Bone stock truck otherwise. Now when you start wanting more yes you should make other upgrades to support the additional power.

like what? there's nothing on this site that can direct me like on AllFordMustangs.com, They have some stickies that say, "Well stage one you should add these parts, stage 2 are these parts" etc etc etc and so on.... I was thinking SC and Pipes to start, then maybe start on handling, the truck handles like my v6 Mustang right now, good but too much body roll... Or should I continue the engine mods and to what point till I should stop and work the rest of the truck?

Draghon used Whipple kits pop up all the time ranging from $2300-$3500. One just sold in the classifieds this week for $2300. Be patient they come along. There's one for sale right now on another F150 site for I think around $3k. PM me if interested. I've been Whipple charged for 4 years. No problems yet.
Actually, just tune 392 whp and 470tq https://www.f150forum.com/f70/ecoboo...-470tq-228501/

There are some promising results on the horizon for the EB.

For <5k you can get 400whp on the 04-08 with the proper parts and tuning.

it is kinda funny, a brand new Crate Coyote Engine is around $4-5000, I almost cringe to think, for a SC being at that price, that I might as well throw in a Coyote... but... I think a SC might be easier to install by myself...

What's the fuel mileage you guys are getting on the SC trucks? if you guys have done it...

A 5.4 Makes the same tq as the 5.0.... So with the whipple it will be alot faster. But thats why I mentioned adding some supporting mods before you add boost..... I've added 4.56 gears, a SCT programmer, and now the trans has a stage 2+ shift kit...... My next big mod will be longtubes..... Then after the enging gets new timing chains, guides, Cam phasers, ect..... It will get a whipple.

The Coyote's need blowers to lol. They are weak. The 6 speed trans helps a lot.
As for mpg's. When I had just the Whipple kit installed I got 18 mpg hwy. 12-14city. That really depended on me. Bone stock i got 18.3 mpg hwy.

Now with nearly 500rwhp I get 16.5mpg hwy. Usually 11-12mpg around town. I drove the hell out of it every time though. Keep in mind I also went from 3.55 gears to 4.11 and I have a stall converter.

The coyotes are great but id stick with the 5.4. One of the strongest blocks ever. Thats why the shelby mustangs and whatnot have a 16 year old engine design over their cutting edge 5.0.

I got 15.3@73mph with 600-800#in the bed.

I wouldn't take a 5.0 in a truck, there isn't a lot on the bottom end. I am pleased with the ecoboost, it has it where it counts.
