Sleds aren't a registered vehicle for street use. I've been snowmobiling since 95 and up north where we ride(Me, Nh, Vt), its illegal to drive on any part of the road to get to the trail. They expect you to trailer to a spot where you can access the trail safely off the road.
You can cross the street, just can't cruise down it.

I didn't get any pics of me driving around (which by the way, was ridiculously fun and gratifying). But, here is a pic I took just before I dug her out. Keep in mind that this is the result of < 24 hours of accumulations.

Some of those Florida carts are pretty damn nice.
Almost makes me jealous of those retired old timers playing golf everyday in their tricked out golf carts. No.. Not yet anyways.
