it's a common problem, usually happens to the driver side window, do you have any idea how many times that window is used? what i do find funny is people won't fix it early, just so that it don't happen at the worst possible time. people would rather bitch and moan about a 6yr old truck's window regulator going out than fixing it early.....booo hoooo

My driver side window broke while still under warranty , around 20,000 miles , this time it was the passenger window at 39,000 miles that dont get used very much since im single . I checked with the NHTSA ,there are more than 300 complaints about this problem , i submitted a complaint . If you read the web page it shows that all the windows will break with time ,has nothing to do with age of the truck .

no vehicles is perfect...i had a dodge ram and ripped 7 trannys out of it....nature of the beast, just be thankful it's just a window that quits working and nothing major....it's not like your stranded because the window quit working

My point is this should be a recall , ford knows there is a problem and does nothing , but charge you 3 to 4 hundred bucks to repair , 3x4=$1,200 do we have money to burn ?

not everywhere has problems with it, my father-in-laws truck, 04 xlt has almost 90k miles, no issues with his, my buddy had over 100k on his 04 crew cab when he traded it in, no issues....it's hit and miss, they won't issue a recall for that

learn how to fix it and save yourself some of that cash you don't wanna spend to fix it....

take the amount of trucks made.....hit and miss...like i said...i'm sure it's less than 1%....you don't want it to break, don't roll your window down, or you should have bought a truck with manual roll up windows

awwww because you can't spin a wrench and fix your own stuff, you need to cry about something that breaks and how much it costs.........well you do a good job of acting like a fool....buy a manual and get your fingers dirty...ya just might learn something
