like billw said, did you inspect the injectors to mabye get an idea of what caused them to fail. Could be possible you have something that is causing a lack of fuel flow or pressure such as some junk in the lines that would cause your loss in power.

The fact that your injectors went bad is really the only clue. Any suspicions about the fuel you've used in the past? Maybe causing problems again.

A friend of mine used an ethanol mix on his motorcycle. The vibrations in the tank (we think) caused the ethanol to separate and cause the bike to quit on the highway. Pulling the fuel line showed basically pure ethanol. Once this was drained as well as the carbs the bike fired up again. This is the only time I've run into this however.

Do you trust the new installed parts? If no one can find anything wrong and the computer is reflashed and throwing no codes then I'd suspect the new O2 sensors and then maybe the new cats. Are these Ford parts?

Did you ever replace your fuel filter? we had this happen to us once and it was a plugged fuel filter which only allowed a little gas to flow.

If you look at the fuel trim that should be an indication of this also. I'm trying to remember but I think if it should stay between 6 and 0 and if it's outside that range it's an indication of an issue such as fuel pressure.

The injectors failed because Ford produced crappy injectors. The 2005's have an added, extended warrenty on them until 110,000 miles, but the 2006 has just the basic warrenty even though the part number is exactly the same. They just decided to not cover them for the 2006's even though they knew they were crappy parts, prone to fail. Pretty unreal, right?

Sounds somewhat like the coolant temp sensor might be ranging out. Could be confusing the ecm to either pull or dump fuel. Coolant temp peaks around 5 to 10 mins correct? Test it out. I've seen camrys randomly Stall out without throwing codes because the inputs aren't what the comp wants to see and its pulling fuel or playing with the IAC shuting the car down. Tell us your results bro. I deal with a lot of this stuff on a daily basis at work

I have 2 bent rods! My engine hydrolocked and it caused my rods to bend.....Now I need a new engine.

I am still under my 5 year / 60K mile powertrain warranty, so do you think I will be able to use this coverage?

The dealership my truck is at is submitting it to Ford, tbu do you think they will honor the warranty? Bad injectors, that are not covered are the reason it hydrolocked, leading to the bent rods, so will they say they are not responsible?

It would be a really bad move if Ford came back to me with that answer, but do you think they will?

isn't the engine and it's parts such as injectors part of the powertrain? If it is still under warenty you shouldnt have any issues
