Default Idling problem

I have had my truck for about 6 years but recently it started running really rough when idling. What do you think it could be? I took it to the ford and they told me my PCM wasnt responding to there computer. The truck also shakes real bad on a cold start in the morning. The whole truck shakes but this only happens in the mornings. Last thing is sometimes when i press the gas pedal softly the truck feels like it doesnt want to move like if the engine isnt getting any power. Any help is good

My truck had idled rough, not the same thing you are experiencing... my issue was the phasers. Just a thought.

Did the phasers solve the problem?

It could be a multitude of things that cause a rough idle. What of the regular items have you done? Clean MAF sensor, clean throttle body, replace fuel filter, replace air filter, when was the last time your spark plugs were changed?

My best guess is fuel filter. All the sediment settles at the bottom over night, then when you start it up, you notice problems.
