I personally have not had great results threw the booster either. But I never got a CEL from seafoam... I would drive it around and see if it clears up. Does it run rough or sluggish now?

Not sluggish or any thing just normal

Is there another place to put it that would show better results

Could it have spit a code because of the vacuum leak on the intake?

Don't put it in the brake booster!!!
It goes in the intake manifold!!

Seafoam will usually foul the plugs, its good to plan in changing them after its poured into the intake.

If you have a tuner, try reseting the code. If no tuner, remove the negative battery cable, wait 5 minutes, then reconnect. That too should clear the code. It will however clear your radio stations, and the PCM will have to re-learn the idle, meaning it may stall at idle the first time you start it. Go for a 20 minute stop and go type drive; get it up to highway speeds, some stop and go as well. Should be good to go.

I never was a real fan of this seafoam; but many swear by it on this site.

The throttle body, where the PCV line attaches.... I use seafoam deep creep with the straw... This method cleans the throttle body and is the only way I can get the truck to smoke.
