Congrats on getting that last one out. Looks like you're set up to suck anything out of the cylinder pretty good, so I'll bet you'll be fine. You're almost there.

I vaccuumed both #4 and #5 and never found any of the missing pieces. had my girl crank the engine over real quick without any plugs in it and never saw anything either.
figured "the hell with it" and put the new E3.70 plugs in with antisieze on them and put everything back together.
crossed my fingers and cranked it up. no horrible rattling noises and it idles smooth as silk. drove it around yesterday and I guess all is well.
who knows what happened to those few pieces, I guess they got blown out the exhaust.
I will say one thing though, when I had it idling I heard the faint "diesel noise" people talk about with the cam phasers. I swear if its not one thing, its another.

only issue I have is plug #5. the bottom of the strap broke off completely as well as a piece of the porcelain which is likely inside the cylinder obviously.
I'm going to clean my shop vac and try and see if it has enough suction to get the pieces out but if that doesnt work, how much damage do you think they'll do in the combustion chamber?
that what mine look on #8 but cannot find no piece inside the cylinder looks like they all went out the exhaust valve,Plug was loose and just unscrewed it by hand, looking inside the hole with a Fiber Optic tool that is the part it look weir trying to have a picture when the plug is removed down in the hole that way I could compare to mine,
anyone as pictures,,,,,,,

Most Impressive, I have no problem saying you've got a pair! I had the Dealer do mine at 92k and then every 50 k after that first time they broke 3 and it cost me $500 after that no more broken (they switched to a 1 piece plug) and around $250 including parts and labor.

Good luck man, I hope you get it all back to normal without having to pull the heads.

I have yet to see a better situation for the term "stuck between a rock and a hard place." my truck hit 105,000 with original spark plugs and cylinder 4 is misfiring at full throttle. I dont have the money to fix it at a dealership and i dont think me and dad can tackle it ourselves and my dad is the best mechanic i know.

Jimwills, what do you mean one piece spark plug ,just got some at the Dealer today(should had pic them up at PepBoy for 1/2 the price ,dealer where at $25.95 each)and there still the same way even another brand are like all the other one ready to break,,
for doing it your self its very simple and easy, there is a chance that if you un torque the plug side way it will break,
did mine at 136,000 miles OEM plugs with no problem, spray a bit of WD40 just before removing them,
now that I Started to change for first time # 8 misfired and had to replace it,plugs are 1 month old and the tip arch and electrode was missing just like the picture above, wonder why still had to be change,,
