Thanks, but I'm still confused. Are we meaning a "LIFT KIT" to allow larger tires, or a leveling kit? I have a stock 2wd 2005 F150, and it looks like I can already add a "higher" tire (then re-calibrate the speed sensor), so I'm confused as to how a "leveling" kit will allow me to fit tires that are better suited for off road use.
I'm thinking a leveling kit levels the front and rear, which my stock truck already appears to be. Am I wrong in this thinking?

A "lift" kit will actually allow you to install bigger All-Terrain OR MUD tires.....which will increase your ability in the woods 3 or 4 fold, I would think.

Somebody that knows more about this than I do may correct me, but "leveling" will still not allow you more than a 265/70-17 tire, which is what I just installed.

I've been mulling over this a couple of weeks, also.
I think I'm gonna install BILSTEIN 5100 Series shocks that will lift the front end 2 inches and make me level.......
My original shocks are probably shot anyway, I'm sure!
