Default I need advice on my truck!!!!!

HEY GUYS I JUST SWITCHED TO FORD. I just bought a 2004 Ford F150 XLT 2WD. I love the truck. The one thing I want to change is the tires though. The current size tire is 255/65/17. The truck seems to sit a bit low. I am wondering is there anything I can do to get my truck to sit higher without buying an expensive lift? Can I purchase bigger tires and get a few inches of lift out of them? I also want to keep the stock 17 inch rims if possible. Can someone please give me some advice on getting my truck to sit a few inches higher. Thanks

Try a leveling kit, plus jump up a size or two on tires.

2.5" level to bring the front up level with the rear and then add 33x12.50x17 tires. This will give you a little bit more height.

I agree. If you want to stay with the stock rims, a 285-70-17 fits nicely, and a 2 inch (or 2.5) leveling kit sets it off perfectly. Add a 1 inch block in the rear for a little rake, and you're done. And you'll have about $125 bucks invested plus the tires, and sit about 3" higher in the front, and 2 in the back.
