I heard a knock from under the truck while washing it today. At first it sounded like the engine but when I drove it down the street it sounded like a loose tourqe converter. Rolled under and checked the nuts. All good. So i decided to pull the transmission. Sure enoug the dang flex disk is cracked almost all the way around. Just glad I caught it before it broke completely and left me stranded. Just letting yall know so if you get a knock roll under and see if its coming from the bell housing.

Great catch! I have to wonder how many times this has happened to others that have not been reported here, and ended up with a huge roadside failure.
