I have learned my lesson with fords
So in less than a year, I have had 4 starters, my ac has gone out, my pcm has burned up, my main engine wiring harness has shorted out, replaced all front end suspension components (balljoints, control arms, and tie rods), and I have been chasing a whine in the serpentine pulley. I bought this truck (my second Ford out of 3 trucks I've owned) last April with 140,000 miles, and have had nothing but problems. Am I crazy for never wanting to buy a ford product again?

Sometimes you just get a bad one of the bunch trust me, I'm a diesel mechanic. You get trucks they never give you issues and trucks that never leave the shop. It's not just Ford, everything has it flaws. You just happened to get a lemon

Still better than my 07 dodge magnum. Replaced entire suspension at 70k also normal according to dodge. among other problems. And it used 1-2 qts of oil every 3k miles. Starting about 40k into it dodge said it was normal. Traded it in on my new f150. And engine knocking It only had 117k when i got rid of her. Although the future is looking bleak with so many warranty issues by 1k miles on the new f150. However in your case 140k is a lot of miles to not expect some repair issues. To answer your question. I've owned my truck for only a week and it's already had two fits where it wouldn't start and the electronics went crazy. After $900 at the dealer I'm hoping the road ahead is clear.
