Default make it hard!!!

I ALWAYS make sure that if I put something into my rigs, anyone (even me sometimes) is gonna have a hard *** time getting it out! I get the tamper proof screw, square hole screws, or the style screws that you can tighted, but not remove (like you see in bathroom stalls)

I install a box, and then bolt it to the truck from INSIDE the box...I've also installed the amp inside the box, then put the hard to remove screw on the speakers....can't get the box, speakers, amp...... alot of radios too have the mount lug on them to mount a anti theft strap too, then mount it to your dash frame with the tamper proof screws... they might break the lock....but everything else is still gonna be there! Think they will try again after seeing that? doubt it!

Wish I could make a way that made the truck a shock..... touch the truck without the alarm being off and it feels like a electric fence....that would be funny to see someone get in that!

Thieves do definately suck. If they knew what harm they really do and how much I want them to die, they wouldnt come around again.
Someone busted the dash and stole the receiver and GPS out of my Cherokee last month, they also got into the garage and took my pressure washer and a motorcycle helmet.
I dont give a crap about the value of the items, this time next year I wont miss the money. What bothers me alot is that someone had been watching us enough to know our schedule then they came onto my property and into my garage. Now we have to lock everything and double check everything and oet an alarm and worry about who is going through our stuff when we are gone, ect. Its a life changing event. I havent slept well for nearly a month, Im up at every noise, I get up and walk around the yard in the middle of the night. The worst part is that its caused problems with my wife and myself. My wife wants to get alarms on everything and double up the locks and put up alarm notices around the yard to deter them and I want to bait them back in and find out who did it so I can assure it wont happen again.
The shame is they just think its stuff they are taking but what they really take is alot more.
The items are not worth me taking someone life, but the lingering effects on my life are definately worth killing for.
I dont know how people who have had their home broke into handle it. I would be a wreck and would become dangerous.

Actually I heard an alarm the other day that got everyones attention. It didnt emit the normal beep, beep, beep, beep that everyone has become so complacent about, it sounded more panicky with a few quick honks and a long one then back to a quick one and so forth. It sounded like someone despirately trying to get attention. I dont know if that was something standard with that particukar system or if it was something the owner did but it was definately an attention getter and a good idea.

The best thing to do is install a couple of surveillance cameras to a dvr so future bastards will be on tape. It eased my mind after some local robberies and now that we have two new trucks in the driveway worth every penny. my cameras and dvr were about 700 bucks.

I've always cabled down my subbox, attached a small cable to the inner dashboard frame to the deck, etc... just to make it hard! Even if they damage stuff, it ought to slow them down and make them move on to the next easier target...

Yep, Ive been pricing them. In the mean time Ive got a couple game cameras set up. Not very good quality but should be good enough to ID someone.
The thing is I would bet 10 to 1 its one of my nieghbors kids or their friends which means they will probably be back when the money they get for my stereo, GPS and pressure washer runs out. Who knows what the heck they plan to do with the motorcycle helmet. They cant wear it around here and they cant get jack for a used helmet. Im baffled by that one.

I'm trying to figure out what it'd be to replace it before the adjuster comes to give me a quote. Also, is there a better way to keep these trucks from getting broken into? I rarely turn my music up, especially where im parking, and my windows are tinted. Needless to say, it's not helping.
Thanks
1.) Viper 2 way pager alarm system with, Back up battery, 4 sirens (2inside,2outside) Tilt sensor, glass break sensor.

2.) Shaved door handles

3.) if you park your truck close to your house or appt. Get a set of cheap security cameras and set the VCR to re write everything at midnight.

Edit*** and you can always add a trainhorn to your alarm so when it goes off so dose the trainhorn lol, wake up the whole neighborhood

4.) Keep a loaded shotgun near your bed

only things i could think of lol
