I was "forced" to give my truck a bath today... took some pics
Ok, there is a story behind WHY I had to clean her up. She had freakin' JET FUEL all over herself! Long story short, I live in the flight path of the new 3rd runway at SEATAC and a plane had to dump fuel, it was an emergency, and Jet Fuel started falling from the sky not once, but twice. The plane had to turn around a second time and keep dumping fuel until he was light enough to land!!! And they kind of "missed" hitting the water. They were too low for it to have time to vaporize too.

Anyway, I spent a few hours at lunch today, scrubbing this jet fuel off of it and took some pics........ they turned out pretty decent. It was partly cloudy, not full sun.... What do y'all think?

I also love the red/black color theme. I generally do not like bright red vehicles. I do like the darker red/not maroon/mahogany color (whatever it's called). But, this one is sharp ! Especially with the fender flare trim.

Thanks for all the compliments I have to say that I stripped most of the wax, getting the jet fuel off. BUT, the jet fuel is now off, so I am pretty safe now, and am not too worried about the clear coating finish on it.
I will probably end up waxing it in the next few weeks. It sure needs it, especially now.
