Well I did that and it wouldn't even start now. I may not have plugged everything back in. But in the process my canister purge valve broke. Got it ordered so I guess we will conclude this thread Friday...

If you haven't ordered yet I have an extra purge valve I would make you a deal on. Only has 50k miles on it.

Well thanks to rock auto I have the purge valve here in 2 days. Unfortunately that didn't fix it. Now it doesn't start and when it does it only for a second and it runs awful. So now it's about to be towed to the shop. Thanks to geico I won't pay a dime out of pocket.

Sad day. And don't think the mud has anything to do with it. I'm very **** about my truck being clean but when I started having problems I just washes off the heavy stuff and cleaned underneath it.
