Default I effed up bigtime

Well today I went to clean my throttle body and MAF sensor. Well I was disassembling
everything I was not paying attention and took out the screws on the side of the throttle body and took off the things on the side of the throttle body. The left side came off easily but the right side came off and a spring and another piece shot out. Well I tried my best to reassemble it like I really didn't mess anything up. Well I did and went to move the truck... Well now my gas pedal is unresponsive. What the hell did I do you guys? Any ideas?

Nothing really broke. I just assembled the parts back the way I thought they were supposed to go but apparently I was wrong. Because my throttle body is no longer communicating with my gas peddle

If you have access to a like truck, go compare. I've worked on ford trucks for years andhave neverhad cause to take a throttle body apart yet. Be carefull of how you clean it. The tb has a special coating on it and you don't want to dissolve it off.

Sounds like you will be buying a new throttle acuater bud. There was another guy on here a while back that did the same thing so don't feel bad.

If You can hook the spring back right it may be alright but it will be hard to determine exactly how that goes back 2gether.
