I made some needles for it. they are white, and I used parts off the stockers to make them work on the cluster

stockers = the stock items used on the vehicle.... hence the stock needles were used for parts. lol

how did you get them to be clear?!?!? or blue???? they were red!!!

OK, here is what I did to get my needles to light up the same color as the cluster.

1. remove the needles from the cluster
2. get a set of needles from a junk yard that you like (the ones in the pic are from 90's Explorer, F150/E150, T-bird)
3. take the stock needle apart (your only going to use the black backing part)
4. take the flat side that the red needle sits aginst and drill a hole a size smaller that the metal post of the white needle.(don't go too deep or the post will be loose on the cluster and you'll be screwed!! only go deep enough to let the post of the white needle to go in all the way.
5. I wanted mine to get as much light to them as poss so I ground off all the flat area leaving just the post.
6. press the white needle into the black post you have from the stock needle.
7. now reinstall in the correct possition (lightly at first, till you get the correct spot, then press it down the rest of the way)
8. Now the needles will be white during the day, and colored to what ever color you cluster is at night.
