you should just go with the 2.5 inch leveling kit. its cheaper than an actual lift kit.

Level kit for the front end will do just that and everything is included. There are 2, 2.5 and 3" kits available, all to personal pref and depends if you are towing and constantly hauling weight and how you want the back end to look. Check out auto spring kits and hell bent steel kits off ebay. Both are used by tons of guys on here and good reviews. Best part is relatively inexpensive mod for the change in look that your truck will get.

I think it depends on whether you want to keep it until the wheels fall off or not. A 6" lift may limit the number for people that would buy your truck, a leveling kit wouldnt.

You may need to add an add-a-leaf or install larger lift blocks, but throw the leveling kit on there first and see what it looks like. I had a 2.5" kit on my truck prior to lifting and my truck sat pretty level without doing anything to the rear.

To answer your earlier question, yes you will have to remove your tow hooks to install your Westin bull bar.

i have a 3" level kit in my truck and it sits even it looks good with it on... i got mine for 69 bucks from hell bent steel and it was easy to put in... i like my 3" but if your going to be doing a lot of off roading i would go with a 2" or a 2.5" i dont have much travel anymore with mine...
