That's a really good deal. Labor is what kills in the mechanical world. I would go full forged and go for big power. But that's me. Haha

Not sure on ohms but are you rebuilding with all stock parts? Might be a good time to do some performance things if they're not too much more than stock.

I would visually inspect the injector first. I would say less an electrical and more it might of been built up crap.

Though poor maintenance is a major cause of engine failure. Things like oil changes, belts, cleaning injectors. If not done it can lead to issues eventually.

Calm down down y'all. Just drop it all and help each other. Haha.

I would bet less of an electrical problem more of junk in the injector causing to not be able to close. Ya if its getting constant power from a short then ya I could see it but I think the natural position of an injector is closed. Your more likely to get no power over constant. Unless it was the computer. That's what I would guess. I work on airplanes and 99.99% of the time is not getting power or failed over its getting too much.

Could not be junk in the injector... that would be a maintenance item.

Any pics of the cylinder wall and head? That may help a little. Right now I'm thinking injector. I doubnt the is ECM is at fault as it doesn't have the ability to lean just one cylinder on these trucks. It can lean or richen the bank but not one cylinder. It's a damn shame this happened. If you have the coin I say throw a set of cams in while she's down. $700 and some custom tuning with SCT and you will have something. Sale the Edge to recoop a few of those dollars.
