Question I am changing my spark plugs by myself.

I have a 2005 F-150 Triton 5.4 v8. I am looking at the Motorcraft SP-515 spark plugs and have some questions on the tools i will need. Are they pre-gapped? If not how to gap them. What size spark plug socket do i need? Should i also buy anit sieze? What tools do i need to get to the back plugs? I have heard that after so many miles they tend to get very brittle and fall apart in the engine, how to prevent that? Do i need deep sockets? Swivel sockets? I have put the link of the plugs that i am looking at buying. Any help is appreciated and i thank everyone in advance.

I just changed my plugs and COPS all with Motorcraft parts. Best thing I did was purchase a spark plug socket from Amazon. Just put in your vehicle information and the right one should come up. Mine is an OTC brand #6900 - for 2004 and newer F150 pickups with the 5.4L 3 valve Triton engine. The spark plug socket has a 9/16" socket with about a 6" extension so it works perfectly. You will need a couple of different length 3/8" extensions, ratchet and a torque wrench.

Have fun.
