Easy enough to use; plug them into the OBDII plug, and follow the screen directions. They capture and store your stock settings, then let you select certain changes, such as shift points, tire size to recalibrate the speedometer, etc. Then you unplug and store away. You can easily restore the stock settings (you would want this in case you take the truck back to the dealer for any warantee issues), then re-install the upgraded settings.
The Edge, as well as the new Bullydog units provide more in the way of instant mileage readings, and more, so they would want a "home" somewhere on the dash. Check out the "triple dog GT":
