05 with the 3.55's. I have a level kit, dual exhaust, K&N drop in air filter, and a bed cover with the 5.4L. Probably see 12 city and 14 hwy. I try to stay out of the throttle. I drive 75% city 25% hwy.

Some different situations I've had over the years and my average calculated highway mileage. I found tire weight to be the biggest factor, so I included those specs.
2004 5.4L 4x4 supercab:
Troyer 91 tune, 3.73 gears, stock tires (49 lbs): 19.2 hwy @ 65mph
Troyer 91 tune, 3.73 gears, 35" KM2s (67 lbs): 15.8 hwy @ 65mph
Troyer 91 tune, 4.56 gears, 35" Toyo MT (81 lbs): 14.2 hwy @ 65mph
Troyer 91 tune, 4.56 gears, 35" Duratracs (64 lbs): 17.2 hwy @ 65mph (current)

I get about 14 city and up to 18 on the highway if i take it up to 118kph, if i back down to the 100kph limit it drops to 15 mpg. All my upgrades i don't think helped get better mileage, but hey, anytime you can dial up the power and not loose any.... Thats perfect
the upgrades keep the mileage up when i am towing or hauling so they help in that sense but not everyday driving

Entirely stock, except flowmaster muffler, tried K&N filter, made difference. Tire size went up one width. Get 14+ in the dead winter, 16-17 in summer. City 12mpg. My Alero gets 19 in city and 24 on the freeway. Prefer the truck!
