Default How to you fix this without a welder?

I have a set of factory side steps and the bolt have busted out with the fittings attached. They are too wore out to fit snug.

Well most of us would probably stack washers... I would use all new hardware, bolts, nuts, washers of necessary type/sizes...

To, two, and too are three different words. Words mean things.

Thanks for not helping at all. Since stacking washers will not help.. Maybe someone with some useful advice will chime in. Lol

Don't sweat it man. Too many people have too much time on their hands and find every way possible to make themselves feel superior. They are obviously lacking something, I'm thinking they were weened too early!

Yeah, I thought about just hammering blind rivet nuts in. That's what I will try. Thanks.

Definitely, most are losers in real life and like being a douche behind a keyboard where they are safe.

If you bring it to me I'll weld it for you but you may find I'm geographically undesirable.
Maybe someone in your area.

It might be that... Or it might be that most of the people on the 04-08 forum are 16 year old kids that don't know anything about how to fix their truck that was handed down to them. I think most of the people that frequent this forum are around 16-20. And they disappear very quickly and a new one comes along. There's only a select few on this forum that I trust with an answer that will help me.

Hey, don't bash all teenagers on here.. I feel like I've contributed to some topics in my year and a half on here.. I almost never say anything unless I am confident I know what I'm talking about. Easier to learn stuff with your mouth closed! Even on the internet.
(P.S. My truck wasn't handed down to me, I actually liked the square fogs on the 05 model and it had the exact color setup/trim I wanted)
