I understand on the leveling kit. If it falls apart I will just lift it or level it.

Honestly, id be a little concerned about 5 owners on a 8 year old vehicle. But if you guys drive it and it rides good, mechanics check out ok, and your happy with it then thats all that matters. Im the 2nd owner of mine according to my report. Does your report state that it has any accidents or anything? If you send me the vin(if you know it) i can check it for you real quick. Up to you though

I pulled up the car fax from the dealer.
My parents said it drives great and no weird noise or anything. My dad says that the engine looks like maybe 40K on it (but it is original) so that's good.
It has no accidents (thank god for that since I hate dealing with truck been in an accident the 06 before this one was in one (sorry if the god part offends you))
Here is the link to the truck:

I prefer less owners but that's ok My 88 has had 3 before me my 02 f250 has had 1 owner before me and more with less.

Looks like it was a work truck at one time...most likely a run around and deliver material truck or an office/field guys truck...report says fleet/rental/ and /or lease use is why i say that. Im guessing work truck since it has some dings but def not a field only work truck. Report is clean though. The dealer had the VIN listed btw. Doesnt look too bad though if it were a work truck. Mostly normal wear and tear and what would be expected from such a vehicle. If it drives that good and runs that good, may be a pretty good deal. The dealer looks like a new /used car toyota dealer..which would comfort me rather much compared to a used car dealer. i say go for it!

Well we went there and checked the truck out again a CEL (Check Engine Light) came on. I asked them if I could stop by autozone with the truck to pull the codes on it. They told me no??? So then we started talking numbers just to see what the wanted they started saying a $3k down payment (with B2 and Van) when earlier they told us a $500 with our B2 and van. By the time we would have done that we would have been able to buy the truck outright.
Usually this dealer is decent I bought my 02 F250 from them and no problems (traded in my past 02 F25). That is just crazy especially for the miles. My dad told them to get a life and squelled the tires on his 89 F250 flatbed truck on the way out that was a huge insult. We will keep looking for another truck that is an extended cab short bed 4x4 F150 of any gen minus the 09+ and 97-03s. Thanks for your helpdipschnit.
By the way did anybody tell you your avatar look a lot like Brantley Gilbert? (country music singer)

I just looked at a few pics of the truck and it looked like a mess on the outside with mud and everything. Any dealer who won't clean up a vehicle before they post pics is not a dealer I would mess with unless they JUST took the truck on trade. On a side note, your dad sure showed the car lot squealing his tires on the way out. Sounds like something I would expect from a high school kid.......

Well mud is common up here almost every road is a dirt road.

And trust me if I were to squeal my tires it wouldn't be in my dad's F250 flatbed it would be on my old Harley.

I wouldn't trust anything with over 200k, its a timebomb waiting to blow up.

I plan on shooting for 200k in my own truck but Ive had it since 48k and maintain it. No idea how well maintained a truck with an unknown history would be, could be like my cousins old '97 F150 that ran on less than 8 cylinders most of the time he owned it due to misfires, bad coils and a bunch of other issues. He beat the hell out of that truck but somehow made it over 200k. Sure not a truck Id want to buy.

I understand mud being on every road, however if I owned a dealership I wouldn't post pictures of a dirty truck online. Pictures can be deceiving so the least they could do is take a hose to it and get the mud off. I wouldn't want an unknown vehicle with unknown maintence with 200k on it as a DD either. If it was a toy then that may be a different story. Squealing tires on a harley is sooooo much cooler.......

Ya on my 02 F250 4x4 V10 before taking pics it was cleaned and before I even got their to drive it it was cleaned. Then right before I left they cleaned it again and I mean full on wax and everything.
It would have been even cooler if my dad was on his Harley that day. That thing slips the tire every time you take off from a stop light (2007 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Vance and hines true dual pipes no baffels, rebuilt trans, Stage II screaming eagle kit one day to go all the way up to a stage IV kit). That bike is so awesome but I still miss the bike he had before that one.
My bike is only a 73 XLCH 1000 bored to 1200 with full on racing cam and such tons of mods done to it. I can't wait till I get my licence to drive it.
Anyways sorry for getting off topic in my own thread. LOL
