Go to the dealership there under 20$ and its mounted on the drivers side frame right where the cab/bed meet roughly. Its very easy to do i think somebody did a write up on this forum

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought out trucks had plastic fuel tanks I think mine is. But I will say I would look at the fpdm and fuel filter to easy and fairly cheap parts. And the fpdm is a known problem that can cause some strange things.
