Default How to remove Windshield Wiper Arms?

All I have searched and searched how to remove wiper arms from our trucks. I must not be doing something right as I can't find how to remove these. I found how to remove them from older ford trucks, but not my 06.

My passenger side wiper sits too high on the windshield. Can I remove it and adjust it down? Or are these like this. I saw a few other f150s around here, same style and their wipers sit lower.

Here are a few pics. I'm sure its something easy, I just dont want to break something. There appears to be a little tab that I can move, but I tried pulling the wiper off and it didn't come off. I didn't try too hard though.

Anyway I'm sure you guys can help me out. Any pics or video's would be the best! Thanks

On picture number 3 with your finger pointing to that tab, using a flat blade screw driver gently pry that tab out away from wiper blade arm, while tab is out lift the wiper blade arm as you would to replace the blades, the arm should release free. That tab locks the arm in place(you'll see once removed) to reinstall just reverse procedure. It take a little bit of wiggling to free it loose but will come off.

What ^ he said. Lift the blade away from the windshield until it locks (sticking out), then pull that little tab and it will come right off.

I had the same problem. When I got the wiper arms off, noticed they had an indexing key that prevents adjustment. Swapped the sides they were on (left and right) and everything lined up Just be careful when you take the arms off to not lose the index key. They were loose in mine and I dropped one into the cowl. Fished it out and used some RTV sealant to keep it attached to the wiper arm.

Thanks fella's. I hope to have some time to get to this tonight! Thanks for the in-site on the indexing key.

So what you are saying is that I will probably have to swap my wiper arms from left to right and that there really is no way to adjust them besides that?
