Default How to remove Factory Running Boards

Tried removing my running boards and I can't seem to get them off, the bolts are pretty rusted and on one of them I snapped the clip and can't figure out how to get it off. Does anybody have and helpful tips on how to get these things off?
Thanks

Pb blaster if the bolts won't come loose. Should just be the eight bolts. I have removed and installed mine a couple times.

hose down the bolts with PB Blaster and let it sit overnight. The squirt them again right before you start.
I took mine of Sunday with no hic ups.

If the clips snapped and are just spinning when trying to remove the bolts maybe use pliers to hold the clip from spinning.

Am I going to have to put the bolts back on even if I don't put any kind of running boards on?
