I actually just did this to find out i have a hole in the system, But if you go and buy a recharge kit, there is only one port it will fit on. Make sure also that you get the recharge kit that has the UV dye in it. Before you go and get it, do some troubleshooting first. Put your climate control on A/C recirculate, and put the fan on high. While you let it run, pop the hood, and watch the compressor pulley, you should notice, that even if it does not have freon, it sould kick on for at least a second. If not, start adding freon (r-134a). You should notice it start to kick on more often. if after about half a bottle it does not kick on, wait for 3 minutes, and if still no dice, then there is something wrong with your system. Other than that, just follow the directions on the bottle. The only port that the system will fit is the one closest to the firewall.
p.s. When the can says hold upright while filling, It means bottom up. With the can upright, it puts in air, and with the can upside down, it puts in freon. Hope this helps!!

I bought mine at oreilly auto parts, then when i needed more freon, I went to walmart thinking it would be cheaper, but apparently here in washington thats not the case! lol I would just check at a local auto parts store. Good luck!
