Yea, they are cheap stock. 10 bucks a piece at your local auto store. But these aren't stock ones... 3/8" solid instead of that coiled up garbage that is in them stock.

The reality is that they're not going to conduct electricity any better than the "coiled up stock garbage" (heavier conductors are needed for amperage, not voltage, and there's almost no amperage involved in an ignition circuit from the coil to the plug) and will possibly transfer enough vibration to the plugs to crack the ceramic.
