Suggest to check KBB.com, Edmunds.com, and/or NadaGuides.com to get you in the ballpark for what you're looking for as far as model year, options, wheelbase, etc.
Trucks don't seem to be selling all that well right now, at least in this area, so you may be able to get a 20-40% better deal than their suggestions. Use the private party or wholesale values to get closer to real-world. Also, short-wheel base is a little cheaper than regular wheel base.
As far as financing - that depends on what interest rate you qualify for (how's your credit rating?), and the length of the loan. A web search should reveal calculators - may have to use a home mortgage calculator - where you enter the purchase price, interest, and number of payments, and it will spit out the monthly payment.

Its almost makes more sense to buy a new one. I was looking for a used 4x2 and couldn't find a decent one in my area (they're all 4x4 here). So i figured I'd check a dealership, I got a $4,500 rebate and they threw in a linex and some free oil changes as well. When your getting a $21,000 truck for $16,000 brand new, plus a warrenty, there is really no reason to by used. your looking at about $275-$300 per month if you put $1000 down.
