07 screw 5.4 with 189500 on her. Replaced motor at 150k with an 08 and everything else is still original besides normal ware things. Tranny still seems to be just fine. I hope to get at least 300k out of her before I'm done with her. I have owned her since new only had 28 miles on it when I picked her out. Been a great truck besides the motor swap. Ill buy another in a heart beat.

Lol. At 42k I should hope its pristine. I surpassed 42k at about 6 months of ownership!

109K miles for my 06' 5.4. I have only done regular maintenance so far and have had zero repairs. Except for my stuck HVAC door which i discussed in a different post tonight.

04 5.4 with the 4 speed. Just rolled over to 117k and haven't had problems as long as i've had it, other than some missed starts which were "easily" fixed with new spark plugs(4 of 8 broke off at the head)

Default Miles on motor and trans

Guys,

I have over 10,600 miles on my original 2004 5.4 L motor and transmission, never had it rebuilt only belts and hoses to date.

Oh yeah, the truck only has 10,600 original miles.

QR

p.s. is it wrong to rub it in?

I think it's wrong to not drive the truck! I'm only half kidding. Seriously though, that's an expensive paperweight... lol?

Yep! Bought it in July with 56,700 miles!
We think the previous owner stopped driving it because the iwe on both sides went out cuz the vacuum hose was split.
That's our only logical explanation. Either way I got an awesome truck for an amazing price with really low miles for the year!
