If you yank them, you better keep them.

Last month in Florida, a buyer filed a suit against the seller of a car that he bought. It had the cats removed, and he could not register the vehicle in his state. The seller claimed he did not remove the cats, but he lost his case, as it is a FEDERAL offense to remove the cats, or to sell a vehicle with the cats removed, even if it was not you that did it.

The seller had to refund the money to the buyer, and pay a $25,000.00 fine.

P.S. Please dont bark at me that removing cats is illegal...The hypotheticals on what could and would happen are astounding. Besides, its a stock 08 F150 with an exhaust, it will turn heads, but its not gonna be like a built Big block...lol
Huh, that's funny I have a 2005 stx 4.6 liter and I have a Flowmaster 40 series and it's plenty loud. Granted I have a CAI on the truck as well but I put the exhaust on 3 months before the CAI and it's always been loud. At highway speeds it's not, loud that's fine with me.

We dont even have emissions. So why would one need to have a car looked at to register? Just hack them off but leave the ones with the 02 sensors in it.

I have been thinking about removing last 2 as well. I do have a 4 series as well which sounds great between 1600 and 2k rpm. Anyone have clips of just a welded 40 series with 2 cats only?

Pretty bad that the Chevy guy had to clear that up for ya......lol

But at any rate, there's only 2 on this thing so Im just gonna throw some high flows in it and call it a day. Thanks.
Yes I realize this, but it sounds like absolute sh*t with the main cats removed with no hi flows in their place and you loose low end power. I'm not retarted
