Steeda has some decent truck performance stuff to, I'd check them out. Similiar to Roush but might be slightly cheaper....

id go with the intake, FULL exhaust including long tube headers, electric fans, underdrive pulleys, gears, heavy duty transmission, aluminum driveshaft, supercharger (roush or procharger), then get it dyno tuned for all that stuff. most people dont understand the whole tuning thing. its best to get it tuned last so the truck is running for what you have done to it. or get it re-tuned after each thing you do. the list is endless for things we can do to these trucks. if it was me, id save a lot of money, take it to a performance shop, and tell em dont give it back til its running 10's. theyll know what to do

Well, from what I hear, you wont be able to get this truck much faster than a stock GT with a supercharger, but then again, I dont know anyone who is silly enough to race their F150 :P Not trying to be a downer, but if you have a kingranch, get rid of it and get the supercharged Harley Davidson F150. They push like 450HP factory and are really quick for as heavy as they are.

yea thats one thing i forgot; WEIGHT REDUCTION! if you dont need it, take it out. i heard somewhere that every 100 lbs you take out is 1/10 of a second off your 1/4 mile time. im not sure how true that is but it sounds about right

Thanks guys for the info, rainman lots of great suggestions, any ideas on where to get the following or about how much they will cost? long tube headers, electric fans, underdrive pulleys, gears, heavy duty transmission, aluminum driveshaft? or what I should be looking for? As in what gears to get, or stuff like that, I am pretty new to modding, as I have never done so before, I have read on this forum plenty on exhaust, intake, tuner, and some other things, I like being informed, havent read much on all these other mods

btw I currently have the stock 20" KR Rims (They prolly weigh as much as a normal car by themselves) with 275/55/20 scorpion pirrelli ATR's Any1 got any suggestions for new tires? Rims?

I would also suggest if newer to modding, getting subscriptions to a few hod rod magazines, I assume there are one's for performance trucks and just reading every issue cover to cover. That's how I started learning years ago with Mustangs as I never had anybody to teach me....

well i do alot of reading online of various articles, trying to save money for upgrades, but thanks for the advice
also i just decided to inform everyone that i realize 10 seconds is very unlikely, but it can be a goal i strive for, the closer i get the happier i get lol.. ill be happy with 12's tho... ecstatic with lo 11's... and heart attack happy wehn i break 10's.. lol
I also wont be racing it much since it is a truck, but i enjoy just being able to say, yea lets take it out to the track, and shutting people up. One of my friends has a 5.0 mustang, had a srt-4, thinks he is king speed.. (haha i can only wait) just for me to give him a challenge i will be happy.

Take a look at Roush, they have some superchargers at about half price right now.... $2500 compared to 5k and up.
Steeda is also a very capable performance company, check them out too.
