I paid 375 for mine, shipped, but that was when they were running the buy 3 get 1 free offer, not sure if they have extended it. I love the shocks, the ride is a little stiffer, but handles so much better, not all bouncy...I set them on the top level in the front...i think they give you a little more than 2 1/2 inches, and maybe 1/2 in the rear. I was sitting a little low in the rear so I added a 1" block, now it sits totally level and looks great with my bigger tires...I had a shop put them on for $100 bucks total..good luck

No, the back shocks are exactly the same ride height as the stockers. They'll accomodate up to a two inch lift though.

Okay, Im getting the 5100 series. Wish I knew about these earlier. I wouldn't have wasted money on a leveling kit!

I think these may be the correct ones:
F4-BE5-C298-H1 - Front
F4-BE5-C299-H0 - Rear

Unfortunately, the cheapest I have found is about $410 to my door...not sure where y'all found such good deals. I am thinking "06 crew" is right........everyone that got <$400 purchased during the "buy 3 get 1 free" promo, which expired at the end of April.

My '06 F150 feels like you're driving on a washboard @ 55-60mph.
I've tested it extensively on many road types.
The speed range is very specific, 55-60mph.
I've got brand new Bridgestone Dueler AT's, it also bounced with the old Generals.

You can see the bounce, doesnt matter if you're looking in the mirror or directly at it.

I pull a 5th wheel camper, same thing.

The other day I had 2 pieces of drywall in the back. It didn't bounce. The drywall sloped up onto the tailgate forming a sort of air spoiler. Could this have aerodynamicly affected things ?? I know the weight of 2 pieces of drywall wouldn't have any affect if my 5th wheel doesn't.

I've been told, this is because Ford changed the rear shocks from inside the frame to the outside in-order to increase handling in corners...

I've been told, there may be a block from shipping still in place...

My Ford dealership doesn't know why, but wants to install a dampner for about $400. I've read this may or may not do it. I'm not ready to go for $400 til I know more...and even then it's not a fix, just a band-aid.

I'm ready to try new shocks.....

Any ideas, thoughts, etc....?

I was actually already in the process of placing an order with them. I made the purchase today. Let's hope the install goes better than the block install!

Nice Ride last5oh. Where did you purchase your Bilsteins? I have a 2016 as well and every website I find says those aren't available for the 2016 F150.

LOL, this thread is a few years old. I don't have this truck anymore, but thanks for the compliment. I have a 2016 now as well.
