I am gonna drop in the biggest motor I can find in the biggest truck I can find. That should net me 645651361691 MPG right? The HP to weight ratio. Come on you bought a full sized truck not some eco box. I love watching ppl at the store that bought those eco boxes trynig to fit all the stuff they are buynig into it. I throw the groceries in the back seat, the dog food in the back pull out of the parking spots with the boat in tow. Lets see a Prious do that.

the batteries would be split by the time you got to the edge of tha parking lot, we all know that.

but if you are looking to piak up a few mpg's, how about making sure that your tires are inflated properly, your air filter is clean, and your not lugging around dead weight.

I agree! I can't tell you how many times I have seen people at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, etc., etc., etc., trying to fit the box/item into their cars only to find out that it won't, not even in the trunk. Then they take the item out of the box, like a new tv set, and try to fit that into the car, with mostly the same result. You see them driving home with their brand-new tv in the trunk, being held down with some cheap twine.

I like the biggest motor idea lol but I got a Edge Evolution tuner, K&N cold air intake and custom exhaust and with the Edge on level 2 (towing) if I can keep my foot off the throttle and go 70 mph max I will get 16 mpg, the slower I go the better but most of the time it doesn't work, thats the whole reason I got the Edge lol to haul *** but I do mostly highway driving too fyi

I've got a stock 07 scab,5.4,4x4 around town i'm getting 11.8-13.8.Out on the highway the best I have gotten is 17.8.The truck now has a little over 3,000 miles on it.Kind of odd but around town it seems to get better mileage if I don't baby it.

My suggestion for better fuel economy... park it. The only way I get the 16 MPG is @ 60MPH, downhill with a strong tail wind pushing.
