Default Auto Page alarms

I am looking at having an alarm installed next week. I need to decide if I want a Viper or an Auto Page. Has anyone had any experience with the auto page? I am looking at getting the remote start and the 2 way LCD remote.

Thanks
Brian

No personal experience with the Auto Page alarms, but I hear they're getting good reviews. I've heard nothing except good things about the Viper systems as well. I think most systems are probably as good as the next it's just a matter of the features and range that seperates them.

i have the viper 791 on my stratus, and i have the autopage 2way on my f150. i like the fact that i can see the temp inside the truck on my autopage, but seems that the viper has a better range. especially if you get the newest viper(which i dont have) and i also like that you can get the autopage remote to control 2 different vehicles. (as long as both have autopage systems in them.)

I am both a DEI dealer and an Auto Page dealer. They are both very solid products. I would say the Auto Page might be a slightly better product, but I still prefer Directed products (Viper, Python, Clifford, Avital, etc.) because of i ease of installation, larger company, etc.

I think alarms should be outlawed. Nothing but noise makers that ppl ignore. All they do is pierce my eardrums when I have one in the shop that the customer forgets to leave me a remote for. I think a kill switch is the best thing. I have seen cars being driven with the alarm just a ringing and no one paying the least bit of attn. Hell I watched a cop behind one that was going off while the guy was driving it. I never saw the cop reach for his mic he just turned at the next intersection.

i dont even have the siren hooked up on my F150, just use it for keyless and remote start. but since its a 2way i can still tell if someone is doing something to my ford from in my house at night.
