How do you install universal catalytic converter?
Im getting a code p0340 after running the truck for longer than I should with bad coils. Now it looks like I need to replace the Cat in order to pass emissions. Has anyone ever installed an aftermarket universal catalytic converter? Can it be bolted on using exhaust clamps or does the original Cat have to be unbolted and the new Cat welded in place. I'm selling the truck so just looking for the cheapest option. Anyone have any experience with this job? Thanks.
