I could be wrong, but I'm gonna assume you have 3:73 gears. You might want to go to 4:10 gears. Is it a daily driver only or do you put that 4x4 to work on the weekends?

You can look on your door tag for the axle code. Mine is B6=3.73 limited slip, it is listed at the bottom of the tag. You can also look on the right-side tag on the differential cover. My number for that starts with L73, which means the same as the door code. You can read a little more about it here: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/67...xle-codes.html

3:73 are good for a daily driver. 4:10 would give you a little more low end but its not really needed unless you are an avid 4x4 or trying to improve 0-60 times etc. If you have lower than 3:73 you may want to consider bumping them up to 3:73 or 4:10's. Just a thought. If not, you should be just fine with 3:73's
