how do you find what gears? and more ???
i have a 2006 5.4 xlt 4x4 how do you know what gears you have. also i have a 2.5 level and 1.5 of lift in the rear and 35's on 17 in rims w magna flow duel side out exhaust, and volant cai. should i bother changing the gears? and good programmers to recomend? any other mods i can do to help on mpg?

You can look on your door tag for the axle code. Mine is B6=3.73 limited slip, it is listed at the bottom of the tag. You can also look on the right-side tag on the differential cover. 3:73 are good for a daily driver. 4:10 would give you a little more low end but its not really needed unless you are an avid 4x4 or trying to improve 0-60 times etc. If you have lower than 3:73 you may want to consider bumping them up to 3:73 or 4:10's. Just a thought. If not, you should be just fine with 3:73's
