Buying an exhaust...Any suggestions
What up ya'll... I'm brand new to the forum, Just bought an 06 Lariat a little over a month ago and was looking to make my first mods to it. Narrowed the CAI down to an AEM Brute Force intake but having a hard time deciding on the exhaust to go along with it. Have it narrowed down to Magnaflow, JBA, Gibson, or MBRP. So far I'm leaning towards the JBA just because it's on the lower end of the price spectrum but would be willing to pay more for a better exhaust if need be. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Decide on what sound you like with youtube videos, in my opinion out of those I like MBRp best. Then get the muffler and take it to a muffler shop and have them run tubing and mandrel bend it for you and exit the tips how you want them. Thatll be cheaper then buying the possibly leaky bolt on kit.

I couldn't believe how many videos are out there. Good speakers or earbuds on the computer help with the sound clips. I liked the Magnaflow low pitched growl. Definitely agree with getting a muffler shop to do the job for quality and price also vs a kit.
I'm originally from the Pitt area. Assuming your a Steeler fan call Big Ben up and tell him to slide feet first or put some padding in the helmet.

Back on topic, Will a muffler shop be able to mandrel bend a Stainless exhaust? and how long would it take them to get the exhaust bent?

Welcome to the site.
Flowmaster exhaust have a nice ring to them too, and I think there is another new muffler that sounds like a Flowmaster by "Cherry Bomb" or something like that. Just my $.02

I have a Gibbson too. Nice sound with a mellow note to it. Roars if you get on it. The part I like best after having Flow Masters on most everything I have driven for years is that there is NO interior resonance. Noise is nice when you want to make it but quiet is nice too.

Haha yeah... Someone needs to tell him to start playing a little smarter. There's no shame in throwing the ball away instead of getting sacked either.
