I've had my jeep swimming in 4 feet of water on numerous occasions, never had water in either diff...
I drain and refill everytime I go out and still no water in years. Hence move the "breather / vent" to a higher point ...

Well take your jeep out mudding and don't replace the axle fluid after each trip. And see what it looks like after a few trips playing in the water. Here what my quad diff looked like after a few trips going deep.

^ exactly. The first responder was correct. Do whatever you want, it's your wallet you'll be emptying! And make sure you have a buddy to haul you back/out. All the vehcles we watch galloping through the rocks and rivers have high maintenance requirements. Look at OGTerror's truck. He's spent a LOT on beefing it up and it still gets caught out somtimes.
