Default How to clean valves?

Anyone have some great ideas on how I can clean my exhaust and intake valves without removing the head?

Obligatory: To the inevitable religious Seafoam user, I am also looking for something to clean the exhaust valves, not just intake.

What makes you think they need cleaned? Unless your having drive ability issues, I wouldn't worry about it.

127,000 miles... couldn't hurt. I've seen a lot of chatter online about just using plain water through the vacuum line.

I have used the cold water method through the throttle body in the past. Cold water hitting the hot valves thus breaking the carbon deposits loose. When using this method the key is to "trickle" the water very slowly to avoid hydro locking the engine. I will add that I never noticed any difference after "cleaning" the valves.
