Default How can I get my hood to stop shaking at highway speeds?

Hey guys.... My hood constantly shakes at highway speeds..... How can I put an end to this?... It's already been adjusted once

If it's the OEM hood, it's not an uncommon problem. It won't come up at all if that's what concerns you.

Short of adjusting the latch, I am not aware of a method to eliminate that.

If it's aftermarket, that's different.....

It is an oem hood.... It just looks like **** bouncing around on the highway

Yeah I know. My 06 Mustang GT hood does the exact same damn thing. Short of hood pins, it bounces a bit.

So I added a 4 inch cowl induction hood to my parts list to buy eventually. lol

I can't beleive they would make stuff like that....how do u thnk hood pins would work?

Probably pretty effective if installed correctly. But personally I'd be nervous to drill holes in my hood......

Mine has done that for years and I have not had any problems. These hoods are made of aluminum and are very flimsy. I figure the pressure from the air hitting it just makes it bounce all over the place.

depending in what part of the country you live, holes in your hood is a good place for rust to start. i wouldnt do it.

there are I think 2 little rubber stopper things that the hood sit on and if you screw that out a bit it should help
