I had planned on just doing fiberglass fenders and bedsides for my truck so i could clear 35's without a lift, but decided against after totalling up the cost of the fenders bedsides, paint, then tires. but damn it would have looked bad ace haha

I was looking to get cut-out fender flares for my truck which make the wheel wells bigger so you can fit bigger tires but as far as i know nobody makes them for our trucks yet. I emailed Bushwacker and they said they were going to come out with them but didn't give me a timeframe.

I have been told that if I were to buy a leveling kit, and add that after I add the 6" lift, it would work just fine but that just seems a little shady to me...the 6" BDS lift I saw already has a spacer above the coilover...I'm no expert but I don't believe that its too safe or durable to add a spacer on top of another spacer... but like I said, I could be completly incorrect. If anyone has ANY ideas at all about this, please speak up and help me out. thanks.

I do plan on saving for the right setup, hints the reason why I am asking different ways to do it. and as per your comment, I am a normal person...with normal bills and expenses. coulda went without the low blow. I cant help that I dont get paid more than the averge joe for fighting and serving my country to make sure you will have a job, and a home to come home to, and a nice f150 to drive. Do what your mother taught you when you were a child...think about what you say before you say it. If I wanted you to open your mouth, Id jiggle my zipper.

Yep, military never paid too much. Though, at 18, that was pretty good pay at the time.

Good luck with your truck. Bills suck.

I did 4yrs in the Army as well, along with a good majority of the guys on here. And I don't see how thats an excuse for not being able to save money. It's just about bein able to hold onto your cash and not spend it on random crap or going out to the bars every night. Especially if you really are out fighting for our freedom, saving money should be easy. I came back with just under 15 grand in my account.
