Default how can I get 8" of lift without a 8" lift?

I am lookin into either the BDS 6" kit or the rough country 6" lift but I am wanting to run something bigger than a 35" tire. From what all of the manufacturer sites are saying is that I will only be able to run 35 12.50s. I am looking to run a 37 with no rubbing....I have a 06 ext cab 4wd 5.4. I have been told that if I were to buy a leveling kit, and add that after I add the 6" lift, it would work just fine but that just seems a little shady to me...the 6" BDS lift I saw already has a spacer above the coilover...I'm no expert but I don't believe that its too safe or durable to add a spacer on top of another spacer... but like I said, I could be completly incorrect. If anyone has ANY ideas at all about this, please speak up and help me out. thanks.

Don't stack spacers, that's a bad idea. Some guys have been able to run 37s with a 6" lift because they have the perfect wheel/tire combo. If you ran a narrow, like 12.5" wide, tire you and the right wheel, you will be set.

I second the Rize kits....I know the guys over there and they build an icredible kit.... You never ever ever ever ever eeeeevvver want to stack lift components...a leveling kit on top of a lift will be dangerous and give you nothing but problems....there is only one company on one vehicle that designs their stuff to be stacked and thats cognito on the Chevy's

Why not use the 6" and buy some fiberglass fenders you would be able to run 37's with no problem.

Cheap lift kits will do nothing but get you in trouble... I have seen UCA break and ***** joints blow out... I have seen drop brackets warp, and Axle shafts snap due to bad quality.... parts wear out quicker than usual and ends up getting very dangerous.... BDS is ok but rough counrty is not, ProComp is OK, Tuff Country is not, Fabtech is good, Skayjacker sucks, Rize is great........the Rize kit is expensive because its quality.... you never want to cut corners when messing with your vehicle.... thats like using duck tape and zip ties instead of lug nuts because its cheaper.... save a little longer and spend the money for a better kit, and please dont do a Body Lift, you will be hating life even more.......
