How to adjust headlights properly?
Hello,
I just installed a set of harley headlights in my 06 F150. I notice now that the trucks left headlight shines a little lower than the right. And that said, I am not sure either is in the "optimal" position now since I did them both at the same time without comparing one to a factory one. So I know there is a way to adjust them against a wall from a certain distance and what not. I see there is a little square screw on each light which I assume adjusts the beam up and down? So my question is, which way do I turn it to go up and which way to go down? Also, is there an adjustment screw for left and right positioning? Does anyone know the distance I need to be away from a wall, and how high the center of the beams should be on said wall? Thanks for any advice!
By the way, my truck is a stock FX4, sitting on stock 20" wheels.

For adjustment you would park close to a wall on level ground with the headlights on. Mark the centerlines of both high and low beams with some tape, where the beams hit the wall, back away from the wall to a distance of about 20 feet. Adjust the low beams to hit about 2in. below and the the right of your marked centerlines. As far as the screw direction i forgot what it is (sorry) but while you have it close to the wall adjust the screw and see which direction is which.

1. 25 feet away from wall
2. Measure from the 3mm circle on the headlamp lamp to the ground. This is the reference line hight for the wall 25 feet away.
3. Turn on low beam and cover one lamp.
4. The light pattern should have a sharp edge towards the right and should be at the reference line on the wall. If not, adjust. Screw counterclockwise for down clockwise for up. 4mm socket.
Repeat for other lamp.
There is no horizontal adjustment for 04-08 body style.
