Default Hook up points?

So I have a 2007 f150 2wd 4.6L and I kinda like gettin it dirty haha. Haven't gotten stuck yet but if I do where is a fool proof point I can hook up and get pulled out. I don't have two hooks or a tow package (gonna get Uhaul to install one later)

You need some sort of frame attachment. Look at getting a hitch and installing a shackle. Don't attach to an axle or bumper. Maybe go to a junkyard and find a front bumper with tow hooks and grab all the gear off of it.

You should be able to put the 4wd hook on the front, either get new plastic piece or trim you 2wd one, there may be a write up or YouTube video.....

If I put a bull bar on the front would that work. Cause a tow package is like $700 I don't have lol

No way do not tow from a bull bar. I honestly wouldn't try to run a rabbit over with any of the ones I've had, much less pull out a 6,000 pound truck or whatever ours weighs. Best bet is going to be tow hooks and a hitch. You can easily find a hitch on CL or at a junk yard for $100. And like mentioned above, find a t-boned or rear ended 4x4 and steal the bumper + tow hooks.

check this out. this was a brush guard which "should" be sturdier than a bull bar.

Awesome, cause I was quoted $700 for the receiver installed so I was planning on getting a bumper that is sturdy enough to hook to

Receivers are fairly easy to install if you have any mechanical skills what so ever. I haven't priced them for our trucks but I'm sure you will be paying well under half that price, probably a third of that price even.

I'm thinking of just going to a pick apart and get a 4x4 front bumper and install tow hooks for now
