Default Home made fuel system adaptor

Well, I installed this adaptor in to the fuel line system along with the pressure gauge attached to it and I ended up with these #'s

koeo = key on / engine off 35psi
koer = key on / engine running 32psi

That may or may not work, I don't know. However, based on my experience with JB Weld, there is no way I would trust it on something important like the fuel system. I've seen more than a few vehicles burn down because of a leaking fuel line.

He's trying to connect a fuel pressure gauge and his rail does not have a schrader valve. There's gotta be a better way though.

So why not add a "Y" adapter inline? Drilling into a filter which is just a flimsy case makes no sense. That think leaks fuel as you are driving and it hits any part of the exhaust, toast.

Just using it for a 2 minute test. Then I'll replace it with the new filter

Yea, I think I would find a place for a Y adapter somewhere other than punching a hole in a fuel filter. A search here will probably find a good "how to" on installing a fuel pressure gauge.
